Although the OEM provides a local controller, Fractal still provides a unit controller and maintains the majority of the EMS scope. Fractal EMS provides:

Due to the OEM-provided site controller, Fractal does not provide unit-level (inverter, batteries, thermal management, and fire system) or site-level communication and coordination. Fractal issues a site-level power command using an MPC. The OEM’s site controller decides how to distribute power between the units. Fractal EMS provides:
