Best for: any battery system with no local or site controller, paired with any PCS.

Fractal delivers the complete controls scope — unit and site controllers, integration, commissioning and HMI — from the ground up.
Battery + PCS + local controller
Best for: a battery container and PCS pre-integrated with a local controller.
Fractal EMS scope ▸
The OEM provides the local controller, but Fractal still adds a unit controller and maintains the majority of the EMS scope.
Battery + PCS + site controller
Best for: a battery system pre-integrated with a full site controller (OEM PMS).

The OEM's site controller handles unit- and site-level communication and coordination. Fractal issues a site-level power command through an MPC and provides the HMI, historian and O&M.
